Learn the Washington State Laws on Use of Force.  This class curriculum is extremely important for all firearms owners, the instructor is very thorough and brings such clarity to the subject and more. "Don't be a Victim, be Prepared and Know the Law."

All registrants will receive their confirmation for class with the "need to know info" usually within the week they register via email. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact us or check your "junk" or "spam" box. 

All class dates are open for registration unless otherwise noted. Sorry no refunds on the class fee, we can reschedule your class date if we have ADVANCED (2-3 weeks) notice to fill the original class date and the desired date to reschedule has an open seat. We must be have adequate time to be able to refill the seat, no refunds will be considered for "NO-SHOWS". All facilities, materials, and staff are paid for in advance once the class is booked up, therefore we must be able to refill the canceled seat. 

Ladies Only - Full Basic Pistol Course 8:00 am - 3:30 pm

This Advanced Pistol Clinic is perfect for those that have take our Basic Pistol Course and / or  those that have great pistol handling proficiency. This course is for those that have their own firearm and the gear requirements must be fulfilled. This course is range time only held at the Evergreen Sportsmen's Club of Olympia, WA. This clinic is to advance and refine your pistol shooting and handling skills and also introduce defensive and practical shooting types.  This is a 4 hour course, begins at 0830 OR 1230; see session time on class schedule, only 8 spots per class.  

       

Requirements for this Class:

  • Pre-registration is required online $90 per student
  • Bring a personal semi-pistol - Must be a compact size (3.5" barrel or larger) of a center-fire caliber 
  • Must have prior pistol handling proficiency - this is not a beginners course
  • Must not be a prohibited person from possessing / buying firearms
  • 450 Rounds of ammunition for personal pistol - Ball or FMJ type
  • At least 2 magazines for the pistol (the more mags, the better)
  • A hip type holster (ITWB, OTWB, etc.)
  • Mag Pouch
  • Eye and ear protection 


This Class Curriculum Includes:

  • General Firearm Safety 
  • Practical, defensive shooting
  • Advanced pistol shooting fundamentals 
  • Concealed Carry / Home Defense Factors 


Targets and other training materials are supplied.

Our most popular course offering; the Ladies Only Basic Pistol Course is a one-day event consisting of classroom and live-fire range portions. This course covers everything pistols and revolvers starting at square one to develop safe, responsible, and smart shooters.   Become a lady of higher caliber training with Lock and Load Em's highly trained and certified staff.  We offer 35-40 demo firearms for all students to handle and test-fire, 2.5 hours of range time, individualized attention, and a 2:1 student to instructor ratio on the range. Class size is limited to 18 seats per class.

Requirements for this Class:

  • Pre-registration is required online $135 per student
  • Bring a personal pistol or borrow from the Instructor - all students are welcome to handle and fire our demo firearms
  • All experience levels welcomed
  • Must not be a prohibited person from possessing / buying firearms
  • Minors welcome with parental consent - minor must be mature enough for the curriculum; we do not have a minimum age requirement 
  • 150 Rounds of ammunition for personal pistol OR a box (50 rounds) of both 9x19mm and .38 Special if you choose to borrow a firearm. All other calibers of ammunition will be supplied by the instructor.  

This Class Curriculum Includes:

  • General Firearm Safety 
  • Pistol & Revolver parts, operation, & function
  • Ammunition
  • Proper Shooting Fundamentals & Range Etiquette 
  • Factors with consideration to purchasing

The Utah Concealed Firearm Permit is highly desired by non-residents of the State of Utah due to the reciprocity recognized by other states making it a very popular multi-state permit.  Must be 21 years old to apply, photo ID required.
